The volume of the fruit is concentrated in the

Metropolitan, VI, and VII regions.

During the 2024/2025 season, 116,625 tons of nectarines were exported to different markets.

The three varieties with the highest participation were:

  • Giant Pearl
  • Majestic Pearl
  • Boreal

Nectarines

Exported volume reached 7,4 million cases (nectarine)

and 4,0 million cases (peaches) during 2011-2012. These two species have historically produced roller-coaster results.

Nectariane

Harvested in early January. This variety has good productive potential and a good size concentrated in the 40 series. It has a red skin and yellow flesh. It achieves a good flavor post-harvest, with no visible disorders.
